How much is this old 1892 gold coin worth, or a 1964 Silver Kennedy half dollar worth? Do I have a dollar and a half or is it worth more than that?   How much is my Silver Certificate worth? Because we get those kind of questions we have arranged for a rare coin collector and dealer to come to our Galena branch to do a free appraisal of your coins/ coin collections, proof sets etc.  Many times those old coins you threw in your piggy bank years ago are more valuable than you realize. It could be there are silver coins or maybe you have one of those rare coins that is worth a million dollars! Stop by and have your coins appraised!

The Illinois Treasurer’s office will be offering a presentation at 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm to help residents find unclaimed cash.  There will be time for questions. Many times people are not aware that the property even exists. Not only is this program for individuals, it includes unclaimed monies for businesses hospitals, not for profit organizations etc. After the presentation there will be a representative available to look for property and to complete paperwork if needed.

We visit the extensive, privately owned collection of Kenny Kass’. He has collected the finest antique, vintage tractors and steam and gasoline engines in the Midwest. This collection includes prairie tractors from the turn of the century, Aultman-Taylor, Russell and the rare Rumely Oil Pull Tractors!

The newest addition to the John Deere attractions, the John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum highlights the history and contribution of John Deere Waterloo Works in the rich history of both John Deere and Cedar Valley through its nearly 100 year history.

Included in our adventure will more something green the Cedar Valley Arboretum and Botanic Gardens. This 35 acre site features a rose garden, a butterfly garden, rock garden, Ornamental grass garden perennial garden, a Labyrinth, daylily collection,  Forget-Me-Not Pond, Sesquicentennial Forest, and so much more!
