The Galena Art & Recreation Center
is a non-profit educational and charitable
organization. Galena Art & Recreation Center was formed
on July 10, 1967 to promote community program activities
in arts, crafts, sports and recreation for people of all
ages. The center has been serving the people of Jo
Daviess County with over 50 major programs each year. |

The Galena Chamber of Commerce
was organized at
a meeting of merchants on February 2, 1838 and though it
has not been a continuous existence, a business
organization in one form or another has been in Galena
since that time. The Chamber is focused on promoting
the economic welfare of the business community and
contributing to the Galena area's quality of life. |

The Galena/Jo Daviess County Convention & Visitors
Bureau is visitor friendly, and pride themselves
on their service and their comprehensive Visitor's Guide
and Calendar of Events. |

Visit Galena is
a new organization recognized as the official
destination marketing organization for the City of
Galena. As a 501 (c) 6, the organization's primary
objective is to increase the benefit of travel and
tourism for the local community. |
